Jack Warshaw

Green Man Folk Club presents The Jack Warshaw Band

The Green Man Folk Club hosts local, national and international touring folk acts by presenting concerts at the Holybourne Theatre each year

Jack Warshaw comes from New York City. At 19 he was singing in bars and treading the stages of '60s Greenwich Village along with Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, Peter, Paul and Mary, Tom Paxton and other aspiring artists.

Moving to England, he joined Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger's group, learned from Tom Paley, toured the UK and Ireland and performed with many greats.

His songs include the iconic If They Come in the Morning, aka No Time for Love. He complements his traditional repertoire, with today's stories and politics.

His latest album features talented musicians David Botting, Ben Paley, Zoe Warshaw, Neil Warren and Dominic Geraghty who form the Jack Warshaw Band for this concert.
