The Lions Club of Alton provides a 'Craft Market' in Alton town centre in conjunction with local craft workers with the stall hire and pitch fee surplus being donated to local charities.

The market venue starts from the junction of Alton High Street and Cross & Pillory Lane and extends into the Market Square.

The Craft Market is held on the second Saturday of each month from March to December 10am to 3pm. Extra Craft Markets are also held to coincide with other events in the Town Centre, for example the Jane Austen Week, Alton Food Festival and others.

The Alton Craft Market is a well-established event with a broad choice of high quality locally crafted products on offer and drawing visitors from all around the district.

The Alton Craft Market coincides with the Hampshire Farmers Market in Alton and together this provides for a substantial and busy market event.
