Open Gardens organised by Farringdon Horticultural Society

Come and visit the beautiful village of Farringdon, situated three miles south of Alton on the A32 for their open gardens event

There will be eight gardens open, two of which open regularly for the NGS. The gardens reflect a variety of sizes and styles. There will be plants for sale on the church green and teas available at some of the gardens around the village.

Opening times are 11:00 - 12:30 and 2:00 - 5:30 ( The Croft will open in the afternoon only - as detailed on the programme).

If you are planning to come along for the day you are welcome to enjoy your picnic lunch in the gardens of The Thatched Cottage opposite the church. Shelter will be provided if the weather is poor.

Alternatively there are two popular village pubs, The Golden Pheasant on the A32 and The Rose and Crown on Crows Lane. Booking for either is recommended.

We are pleased to be raising funds for our church and our society. The entrance fee to all the gardens is £5 for each adult, children under 16 are free.

Please come along, visit our lovely church with the 2,000 and 3,000 year old yew trees in the churchyard and help us raise as much money as we can whilst you enjoy strolling around our village and gardens.
