| Description: | The Alton Bottle Collector's Club was founded in 1979. Members share the common interest of collecting old bottles, many having been dug out of long forgotten rubbish tips. Finding really productive tips these days is not easy, especially here in Southern England. However members still manage to bring along a few items for the Finds table at the monthly meetings.
The evenings agenda consists of the occasional speaker, auctions or just informal chitchat. A display competition is held each month with the winner being presented with a bottle of wine. We also hold two bottle fairs per year.
